Sometimes you just don’t have the depth on the bench to backfill or reassign when you have an unexpected or extended vacancy in a critical position.  CBO Partners® prides itself on working with its clients to identify high quality interim placements to cover the time from when a vacancy occurs until a permanent hire can be identified.

Through its extensive network of highly qualified higher education professionals, CBO Partners® has been able to identify interim placements for its clients ranging from department administrators, to chief financial and operating officers, to deans and vice provosts. Previous interim placements arranged by CBO Partners® have ranged from four months to two years in duration.  We make every effort to accommodate the client’s needs as they develop over the course of the engagement.

When we receive a request for an interim placement, we make every effort to provide at least 2-3 qualified candidates for each potential placement. This allows the client to select the most qualified candidate who will present the best fit with the organization. CBO Partners® will continue to identify candidates until a candidate has been identified who meets the needs of the institution.
